The Marie-Clarac Hospital is a short-term health care establishment whose mission is to provide the highest quality services in rehabilitation. It provides specialized care for orthopaedic patients (musculoskeletal) and patients suffering from chronic illnesses (deconditioning). Its new Mère Anselme Marie Pavilion, which houses the largest palliative care center in Québec, provides compassionate care to end-of-life patients.
Staff recognizes that each person is unique and that each patient has the right to understanding, respect, dignity and autonomy. These values form the bedrock of the hospital’s code of ethics. At Marie-Clarac the psychological and spiritual needs of patients are integral to all care provided. Empathy and compassion are at the heart of our philosophy
