The Marie-Clarac Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce an exceptional philanthropic gesture: a major donation of $5 million distributed over 10 years from the Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli Foundation, intended to ensure the sustainability and excellence of the care provided at our establishment.
This remarkable donation is much more than financial support. It embodies a structuring vision, a deep commitment to human dignity, and confidence in Marie-Clarac’s mission: to accompany people at the end of their lives with compassion, to support those who wish to regain their autonomy, and to offer care imbued with humanism and passion.
“This gift from the Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli Foundation is a powerful testament to what generosity can accomplish when guided by an open heart and a desire to build a better future,” said Michael Fratianni, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
“What has moved us, is the quiet strength of the nuns who have supported this house for so many years. They give without hesitation their time, energy and compassion. Their commitment is not only a mission, but also a true act of love, renewed day after day. At their side, a remarkable team—doctors, nurses, therapists, volunteers—provides care with humanism that goes beyond simple medical practices. We feel, in every gesture, the sincere desire to support patients as we would a loved one,” says Ms. Véronique Racanelli, president of the Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli Foundation.
Thanks to this support, Marie-Clarac Hospital will not only be able to maintain excellent services, but also dream of significant projects, initiatives that will enable it to innovate, develop and respond to the needs of the community with sensitivity and professionalism.
Tribute to Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli
In recognition for their inspiring gesture, the Foundation is honored to bestow the title of Governors to Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli and to name the hospital’s Multidisciplinary Services Department in their honor, a lasting symbol of their commitment to a collective well-being.
