For over 20 years, it has been our pleasure to meet our loyal donors for our annual fundraising cocktail. However, given the exceptional circumstances and the uncertainty regarding the possible date to resume public events, we regret to announce that we must cancel our traditional spring meeting.

This fundraising activity is the most important of the year for our foundation. Consequently, its cancellation, in addition to the current context, has a major impact on the donations we receive. Despite the additional challenge posed by the pandemic, we still hope to raise $ 150,000 to finance the development of new individual rooms in our Palliative Care unit.

If you already have your ticket, we invite you to convert this purchase into a donation, rather than requesting a refund. Note that donations are fully eligible for a tax receipt. Kindly notify us of your decision by email at info@fondationmarieclarac.org .

First part:
Winners will be drawn on November 22, 2019, at 10 am, at the offices of the Marie-Clarac Hospital Foundation at 3530 Gouin Boulevard East, Montreal-Nord, Quebec, H1H 1B7.
Thirty (30) winning tickets will then be pre-selected and placed in a barrel specifically intended for the Grand Draw. These 30 winners will be contacted to participate in the Grand draw on November 29, 2019.

Second part:
The Grand Draw on November 29, 2019, at 10 am, in the Mère Pierre Anne room at 3530, boulevard Gouin Est, Montreal-Nord, Quebec H1H 1B7.
The thirty (30) pre-selected winning tickets from November 22nd will be in the winner’s barrel (barrel No. 1).
In a second barrel (barrel No. 2) will be the numbers 1 to 30 each representing each of the 30 prizes.
– One after the other, the tickets will be randomly selected in the barrel of winners (barrel 1) by a representative of the Foundation.
– The winner will draw randomly in barrel No. 2, a number corresponding to a prize.
The 30 winners will be called randomly to draw one of 30 prizes.
If one or more of the 30 lucky winners are unable to be present on November 29, 2019 at the drawing, a member of the Foundation will randomly draw their prize on their behalf. Winners who were not able to attend the Grand Draw will claim their prizes at  the Foundation office by December 13, 2019 for tickets attending events and before January 31, 2020, by Noon, for all other prizes.

By entering, the winner agrees to accept the prize awarded. Prizes are not redeemable in whole or in part for cash. Winners authorize the Marie-Clarac Hospital Foundation to use their names, photographs, voices and / or images for advertising purposes, without any form of remuneration.

The fundraiser will take place on Monday, April 8, at 5:30 pm, at Le Rizz Reception Hall, 6630 Jarry Street East, Saint-Léonard.

All proceeds from this event will contribute to provide a peaceful environment aiming to improve end of life care and provide quality care for people in rehabilitation.

Our goal is to raise  $150 000 which will be used, among other things, to support our palliative care project.

Marie Michèle Desrosiers will present a Christmas concert on December 12, starting at 8 pm, at the Leonardo Da Vinci Center.

This event is co-chaired by Martino Paventi of JPMA Global Inc. and Tony Amato of Groupe Pentian.

In addition to immersing ourselves in the spirit of Christmas, this benefit-show will raise funds to restore autonomy to people who have lost it and to accompany in the dignity and serenity people at the end of their lives and their family.

The cost of the tickets is $ 75 or $ 100 and is partially eligible for a tax receipt.

In addition, it is also possible to participate in a VIP cocktail after the show, in the presence of Marie Michèle Desrosiers. The cost of $ 150 includes the show and cocktail. Access to the cocktail is limited to 50 people and these tickets are available exclusively from the Foundation.

The Marie-Clarac Hospital Foundation’s annual benefit cocktail, held on April 23, attracted more than 350 guests, including many business people. Under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Domenic Pilla, Chief Executive Officer, McKesson Canada, and Mr. Jean-Guy Goulet, Chief Operating Officer, Pharmascience, the event raised a net amount of $160,000.

The money raised will be used to invest in equipment to contribute to the well-being of Marie-Clarac’s patients.

Marie-Clarac Hospital’s Assistant Director General, Sister Martine Côté, took the opportunity to highlight the importance of Marie-Clarac’s rehabilitation care. For the past five years, the establishment has also provided a serene environment to those nearing the end of life. Sister Martine Côté underlined the generous support of McKesson Canada and Pharmascience who made this event a great success.

This year’s event is chaired by Domenic Pilla, Chief Executive Officer, McKesson Canada, and Jean-Guy Goulet, Chief Operating Officer, Pharmascience.

The Fondation de l’Hôpital Marie-Clarac annual fundraising cocktail reception is a great opportunity for business leaders and professionals to develop business relationships. But above all, the fundraiser allows us to contribute to and support a peaceful environment for end-of-life patients and provide rehabilitation care for patients who want to regain their independence.
